Тема 1.1: о себе и своем рабочем дне.

Продолжительность занятия: 2 часа

Цель: Овладеть активной лексикой и основными лексико-грамматическими конструкциями, необходимыми и достаточными для построения монологических и диалогических высказываний.

Задачи:

1. ознакомить с активной лексикой и тренировать ее

2. тренировать грамматические модели

3. тренировка навыков изучающего и информативного чтения, устного высказывания

Этапы занятий и рекомендуемая продолжительность тренировки видов речевой деятельности:

1. Проверка домашнего задания. Направлено на формирование компетенции (20 мин)

2. Изучающее чтение. Направлено на формирование компетенции ОК-14 – (70 мин)

Task 1. Read the text “My Working Day”

Task 2. Translate the sentences into English:

1. Студенты работают усердно.

2. Потерянное время никогда не вернешь.

3. Студенты слушают лекции внимательно.

4. Профессора читают лекции ясно и научно обосновано.

5.Медицнские студенты проводят много времени в секционных комнатах.

Тема 1.2: Подготовка социальных работников в России. Наш университет.

Продолжительность занятия: 2 часа

Цель: Овладеть активной лексикой и основными лексико-грамматическими конструкциями, необходимыми и достаточными для построения монологических и диалогических высказываний.

Задачи:

1. ознакомить с активной лексикой и тренировать ее

2. тренировать грамматические модели

3. тренировка навыков изучающего и информативного чтения, устного высказывания

Этапы занятий и рекомендуемая продолжительность тренировки видов речевой деятельности:

1. Проверка домашнего задания. Направлено на формирование компетенции (20 мин)

2. Работа над грамматическим материалом: повторение и закрепление конструкции There is/are/was/were/will be. Направлена на развитие компетенции (35 мин)

Конструкции there is/are/was/were/will be используются для первичного сообщения о наличии/существовании каких-либо предметов, объектов, лиц в некоторых пространственных пределах (There are several departments at our clinic) в отличие от предложений типа (The X-ray unit is on the third floor), в которых уточняется локализация определенных предметов, объектов, лиц, о которых заранее известно говорящему. Грамматическое согласование в конструкциях there is/are/was/were/will be осуществляется по первому существительному, который следует за формой глагола to be:

There is a pediatrician who can consult you on this complicated problem. There are many requirements which an applicant has to meet. There weren’t any residents involved in this projects. There will be a few interesting articles in this issue.

Task 1. Read and translate the following sentences. Make affirmative sentences negative and interrogative.

1. There was nothing significant to find on examination. 2. There are many illustrations in the book. 3. There was no evidence to prove the fact. There are many approaches to exploring this problem. 4. There will be over 30 papers in the proceedings of the conference. 5. There is very scarce new data in the publications. 6. Task 2. Choose it or there.

Task 3. Fill in the appropriate form of the verb to be. Make sentences negative and interrogative if possible.

Task 6. Translate the following sentences.
