Floppy Disk Access Control (R/W),

Hard Disk Access Control - смотри в соответствующих разделах.

Hardware Reset Protect - включение опции ("Enabled") запрещает перезапуск системы нажатием на кнопку <RESET>. Использование опции носит защитный характер, если речь идет о возможном случайном нажатии. В остальном применение этой опции малооправдано, разве что опция может оказаться полезной для машин серверного класса.

Password Checking - опция "AMI BIOS", аналогичная "Security Option" для "Award BIOS", с той лишь разницей, что значению "System" соответствует значение "Always", но только лишь с блокировкой загрузки системы.

Security Option - опция, позволяющая ограничить доступ к системе и к "BIOS Setup", или только к "BIOS Setup". Выбор "System" блокирует загрузку компьютера и доступ к "BIOS Setup". Вход в систему тогда возможен только при вводе правильного пароля. Выбор "Setup" не ведет к блокировке загрузки ПК, но блокирует вход в "BIOS Setup". По умолчанию - "Setup".
