Tapescript:

Programme host:

Welcome to our programme ‘Build it yourself’.

Today we’ve got some projects of summer houses.

Here’s number one. Hello. What’s your name?

Mat:

I’m Mat.

Programme host:

What’s your project?

Mat:

My project is called ‘A straw house’. I want to build a straw house for summer.

Programme host:

Really? A straw house? What’s it like?

Mat:

It’s a small house with a roof with one door and one window. It’s easy to build with my friends. You can do it in your garden, too.

Programme host:

Thank you very much. I hope your project will be on the top. Here’s number two. Hello. What’s your name?

Neil:

I’m Neil.

Programme host:

What’s your project?

Neil:

My project is called ‘Steel and Glass’.

Programme host:

Oh, it sounds modern. What’s it like?

Neil:

This house is next to the lake. It’s got glass walls. The roof can move. There’s a small garden on the roof.

Programme host:

Amazing! Can you build it yourself?

Neil:

My dad’s going to help me.

Programme host:

Thanks. I’m sure your project will be the most popular. Here’s number three. Hello. What’s your name?

Philip:

I’m Philip.

Programme host:

What’s your project?

Philip:

My project is called ‘A tree house.’

Programme host:

A tree house? Are you going to live in the tree?

Philip:

Yes, I like watching birds so I want to have a house in the tree.

Programme host:

What’s it like?

Philip:

It’s a small wooden house like a bird house in the tree.

Programme host:

Wonderful! Can you build it yourself?

Philip:

Sure. I’ll do it with my friends.

Programme host:
