At least tell the boss – and let him make a decision. Or leave
the company, if its ethics don't match with your own (the boss might
have known that the European company's production had been banned).
Making this information public is nonsense anyway – for your
career. But if there's no way to avoid the risk for so many people –
it might seem the only right way for some people.
Or let the executive from the construction company know – and
let him make a decision.
