I was born in Delhi in the north of India. My first language is Hindi and I also speak English. Hindi and English are the official languages in our country. Legal documents are usually in English. I work in Madras in the south. People in Madras don`t speak Hindi. They speak Tamil. I translate the documents from English into Tamil. It`s very difficult for me.

Joanna Parkin is a financial adviser. She works for Kudoh Investments in London

I`m English but I work for a Japanese company in London. I meet people from all over the world in the office… Japan, the USA, Germany, Latin America. Everyone speaks English at work, but the company bosses are all Japanese. I study Japanese at home in the evenings. I also speak a little French and a few words of German. I am not very good at German. In fact I don`t understand a word!

Laszlo Radai is Hungarian. He works as a hotel receptionist in Kethely, near Lake Balaton.
