I want to retell the story under the title “To kill a mocking-bird”, which is written by Harbor Lee. It begins with introduction of the family Finch – a layer Atticus Finch and his children: Jem and Jean Louse, who is the author. A little girls Jean thinks that their father is boring to society, he doesn’t do anything until the children play strange game and want to make Boo Radley come out. Boo is phantom, the children think so, because they have never seen him. But Atticus tries to explain them that they shouldn’t play these games, but the children not often listen to him.

But when their neighbor’s house is burning, they watch how Atticus tries to help people, and after it they begin to be proud of him. The children are growing up and begin to understand their father. It turns when Atticus kills a mad dog in the street. After it the children begin to worry for him. Also they worry for him very much in one cause with Mr. Cunnignham. And Atticus understands it himself.

Also Atticus explains his children that they shouldn’t treat negatively to Negros, but they understand it only in one court where the Negro Tom Robinson is accused of raping of the daughter of Mr. Ewell. All in the courtroom understand that Tom isn’t blame and Jem and Jean are sorry for him very much, especially when that they learn that Tom has been killed. Then Bob Ewell threatens Atticus, but Atticus is sure that he won’t do anything. But it turns in the celebrating of Halloween. The fright is between Bob and Jem, and after it Jem is wounded and Bob is killed. Jean worries very much for her brother and now she understands attitudes between different people and the most main in the life is a family.

This book teaches us to be honest in attitude of people, not treat to people who aren’t our race. I understand the title of the book that a mocking-bird is uncommon and melodious bird and to kill it is to overstep boundary, overstep you and break such interpersonal attitudes which we mustn’t forget. I think the book teaches us it: don’t forget that you are person and to kill a mocking-bird you stop to be him.
