In the last thirty years Ireland has been in the news almost daily because of the political problems, that have happened there.

Culturally Ireland is a tresure chest and is famous as a home to some of the great writers of our time such as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw and others. The country also has great musical tradition and has produced talents like U2, Van Morrison and the Dubliners.
