JS: Oh, thank you.
HR M: Firstly, where did you see the advert for this position?
JS: I saw it on the internet.
HR M: Have you brought your CV with you?
JS: Yes, here you are.
HR M: Thank you. Could you tell a bit about your qualifications?
JS: Of course, I hold a secretarial in business diploma. Fluent in French.
HR M: Fine. Could you tell me about any relevant experience you have?
JS: Previously I worked at a bank as a personal secretary to the director.
HR M: Would you mind telling me why you left?
JS: Well, the salary was fairly good but there were no promotion prospects, so I decided to resign and look for something more challenging.
HR M: Now, I see. Is there anything you’d like to know about us?
JS: Yes, I have a few questions. What are the working hours at your corp.?
HR M: From 9 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch. But we’re quite flexible.
JS: Oh, that sounds fine. And what salary could I expect?
HR M: Well, starting salary is 700 dollars a month before tax. After 6 months the salary increases by 10 %.
JS: That’s not bad. When could I expect to hear from you?
HR M: We have a few more people to see. I hope to contact you by Friday.

HR M: Tell me about yourself.
JS: I am a software engineer with 4 years of experience in Sales Force domain with expertise in Customer Relationship Management process. Leaving aside that, I am a jovial person who loves to hitch-hike and play football whenever time permits.
HR M: Can you briefly explain what role you played in Customer Relationship Management process for Sales Force?
JS: Yes, sure. I was a team lead while designing the Customer Relationship Management software for Sales Force. The project was regarding an international retail chain. With a team of 15 members I was able to successfully pin –point and utilize the factors affecting the footfall at the store and thus, helped the client achieve a growth of 30% in sales.
HR M: Great! So, how do you think you fit in our organization?
JS: I wish to make a career in IT industry and keeping in mind my long term goals, I believe that associating with this organization will be the most prudent step. In here, I would surely be able to further utilize my skills in the most effective manner and also, obtain a chance of acquiring newer skills.

HR M: So, you’re interested in joining our company?
JS: Yes, that’s right.
HR M: What appeals to you about working for a company like ours?
JS: Well, from what I have researched I think working with your company would be very challenging and would also give me the opportunity to learn and interact with experts in my field.
HR M: What kind of asset do you feel you would be to the company?
JS: Well, apart from the qualifications and experience that I have, I also feel that I am a highly motivated person who is capable of working in a team or alone.

HR M: So, can you tell me what made you reply to our advertisement?
JS: Well, I was looking for a part-time job to help me through college.
HR M: Do you know exactly what you would be doing as a shop assistant?
JS: Well, I would be helping customers and keeping a check on the supplies.
HR M: That about covers it. Have you any previous work experience?
JS: Yes. I worked part-time at a take-away in the summer holidays.
HR M: Now, do you have any questions you'd like to ask me about the position?
JS: Yes. Could you tell me what hours I'd have to work?
HR M: We open at 9.00, but you’re expected to arrive at 2.00 and we close at 6.00 pm.
JS: Thank you. When will I know the results of the interview?
HR M: We'll be making our decision next Friday, we'll give you a call.
