Unit 4 Somewhere to live

1. Match the descriptions with the pictures.

A

We’ve just moved to a house in the suburbs. It’s got three bedrooms and a large garden. It’s very spacious and there’s lots of room for the children. The living room faces south, so it’s quite sunny.

B

I’ve got a 4-room flat in a big block of flats near the city centre. It’s on the 5th floor, and has a lovely view of the park. It’s very convenient for the shops, too. Unfortunately it’s on a main road, so it’s a bit noisy.

C

They’ve also got a little cottage in the country. It’s in a lovely position, right on the edge of a small lake, but it doesn’t get much sun, so it’s rather dark inside.

D

I’ve found a quiet little flat in the old part of the town. It’s a bit small - just 2 rooms. It’s got a balcony, which looks out on a square.

Complete the table.
