What makes us beautiful?

When you look in the mirror, do you like what you see? Chances are you’ve got a feature or two that could be improved after all, nobody’s perfect. But how far would you go to be more attractive?A recent survey found that it’s no longer just women who want to become more beautiful: men are quickly catching up. In Britain, for example, 34 percent of men are not satisfied with their bodies. Every day we are bombarded with beautiful faces. They smile at us from advertising hoardings, TV screens and magazines. Their perfect smiles, flawless cheekbones and wide eyes fuel the multi-billion-dollar beauty industry. But what exactly is beauty? For centuries men have tried to come up with a mathematical formula for beauty. The ancient Greeks thought the number three was the answer a beautiful face was one that could be divided into three exactly equal parts, hairline to eyebrows, eyebrows to mouth, and finally mouth to chin. Another survey shows that there is no such thing as the beautiful face and all sorts of non-standard looks still count as beautiful. The truth is that when it comes to choosing a mate, beauty is still in the eye of the beholder. Some of us make the oddest choices.Let me tell a few words about my appearance. I am plan girl with green eyes and chestnut hair and with fringe. I am medium build but I have tendency to put weight. I am average height. My face is round and tanned. I have two beauty spots on the right cheek. So the message is: if you’ve got flaunt it but if you haven’t, just make the most of what you’ve got!

About myself

My name is Yulia Belenkova. I am eighteen years old. It is both pleasant and a bit difficult to speak about myself. It is pleasant because every person enjoys speaking about his or her interests, likes or dislikes. But at the same time it is difficult because to study a person, especially yourself, it is a great journey, not a little walk. I am a good humoured, very responsible, hard working and emotional person. Earlier I was engaged seriously in sports. But after a serious trauma I had to throw sports. After that I have decided how to learn to play a guitar. And it was successful . I like creativity and appreciate this trait in others. Sometimes I like to stay home alone, especially when I need some relaxation. Then I listen to music, watch television or read books. I have friendly and cheerful family. My father`s name is Alexander he is forty-eight years. Mother`s name is Elena her forty-six years. I am outgoing person, I think I took after my father. As a matter of fact my parents are friendly and hospitable. They like to invite our friends and neighbors. I have a brother his name Konstantin he is nearly twenty five.My parents called me in honor of my grandmother. Her about eighty years, she is retired She like gardening and spend all their time growing tomatoes, potatoes, onions, strawberries. And my grandfather died of illness.
