1 Ophthalmologische Untersuchung

Dieses Kapitel stellt Untersuchungsmethoden dar, die der Nicht-Ophthalmologe mit einfachen Hilfsmitteln durchführen kann. Spezifisch ophthalmologische Methoden werden in den nachfolgenden Kapiteln beschrieben.

1.1Geräte

Als Basisausrüstung für eine Augenuntersuchung durch einen Nicht-Ophthal- mologen sind erforderlich:

elektrischer Augenspiegel zur Fundusuntersuchung (Abb. 1.1 a),

Visitenlampe (Abb. 1.1 a) zur Prüfung der Pupillenreaktion und der vorderen Augenabschnitte (Vergrößerung mit Lupe),

Lupe (Abb. 1.1 a) zur Untersuchung der vorderen Augenabschnitte (s. auch Abb. 1.3),
