Linking Primavera Unifier data (P6 EPPM Only)
Publish tracking layouts
1)Open the project you want to publish.
2)Choose Tools, Publish, Tracking Layouts.
3)Select the layouts you want to publish.
4)Click the Select button.
5)Specify a location for the new files and type a filename (with no extension).
6)Click Open.
Linking Primavera Unifier data (P6 EPPM Only)
Link a project with a Primavera Unifier Project (P6 EPPM Only)
Note: before you can link a project with a Primavera Unifier your administrator must set up Primavera Gateway integration on the Application Settings page in P6.
There are multiple ways to link P6 Professional with Primavera Unifier:
Schedule Sheet Integration.
Summary Sheet Integration.
Activity Sheet Integration.
Ask your administrator which type of integration you use and which actions you should use on the Exchange Data menu.
Linking a Project with a Unifier Schedule Sheet
1)Choose Enterprise, Projects.
2)Display Project Details, then click the Primavera Unifier tab.
3)Under Schedule Sheet Integration mark Allow this project to link with a Primavera Unifier Project.
4)In the Project Name field, click to select the Primavera Unifier project you want to link with a P6 Professional project.
5)In the Schedule Sheet field, click to select the schedule sheet for the selected project.
6)In the Data Mapping field, click to select the data mapping defined for the selected schedule sheet.
7)Mark Delete from Primavera Unifier any activities no longer in the P6 Schedule if you want to remove activities from Primavera Unifier that are not in the P6 Schedule.
8)Mark Only send activities with CBS codes assigned if you want to send only activities that are assigned a CBS code.
Linking a Project with a Primavera Unifier Summary Sheet
1)Choose Enterprise, Projects.
2)Display Project Details, then click the Primavera Unifier tab.

3)Under Summary Sheet Integration select a Schedule Type.
Select Duration to send dates summarized by CBS code, to Primavera Unifier and have Primavera Unifier calculate costs based on the duration of the project and WBSes.
Select Resource Loaded to send the following data to Primavera Unifier and have Primavera Unifier calculate costs based on the resource and unit loading information from P6:
Summary and spread data by CBS code on the expense category about dates, units and cost for expenses.
Summary and spread data by CBS code on the resource assignment about dates and units for resource assignments.
Select Cost Loaded to send the following data to Primavera Unifier. Primavera Unifier will not calculate costs:
Summary and spread data by CBS code on the expense category about dates, units and cost for expenses.
Summary and spread data by CBS code on the resource assignment about dates, units and costs for resource assignments.
Note: The Schedule Type applies to both projects and baselines.
4)Mark Synchronize WBS Hierarchy if you want to send the WBS hierarchy to the Primavera Unifier Project.
Note: The WBS hierarchy will be used to create or update the CBS hierarchy in Primavera Unifier. If you do not send the WBS hierarchy to Primavera Unifier , only summary and spread data will be sent.
5)If you selected to send the WBS hierarchy, choose how much of the WBS hierarchy to send - Complete, Partial, or Levels.
6)If you selected to send levels of the WBS hierarchy to Primavera Unifier, set the number of Levels.
Linking a Project with a Primavera Unifier Activity Sheet
Note: The first time you exchange data between P6 Professional and Primavera Unifier using Activity Sheet integration, you must initiate the exchange from Primavera Unifier. After the first time, you can initiate the exchange of data either from Primavera Unifier or P6 Professional.
1)Choose Enterprise, Projects.
2)Display Project Details, then click the Integration tab.
3)In the Deployment field, click to select a deployment.

To exchange data with Primavera Unifier using schedule sheet integration:
1)Open the project or projects that you want to exchange with Primavera Unifier.
2)Select Exchange Data, from the File menu and then select Send to Schedule Sheet.
Notes:
You must have the Exchange Project Data with Primavera Unifier privilege set in P6 and P6 EPPM must be configured for integration with Primavera Unifier.
Before you exchange project data with Primavera Unifier you must link a project with a Primavera Unifier Project.
Exchanging data with Primavera Unifier using Summary Sheet Integration
Caution: Check with your administrator what type of integration you are using and which actions you should use. Choosing the incorrect integration type or using the incorrect action could result in data corruption.
To exchange data with Primavera Unifier using summary sheet integration:
1)Open the project or projects that you want to exchange with Primavera Unifier.
2)Select Exchange Data, from the File menu and then select an action.
3)If the action you selected is an export action, in the action dialog box:
a.Mark Summary and Spread data.
b.Mark WBS Hierarchy if you want to send the WBS hierarchy to Primavera Unifier.
c.Verify that the projects you want to send to Primavera Unifier are listed.
d.Mark the Send checkbox next to each baseline you want to send to Primavera Unifier.
e.Click Send.
