Definition

Philosopher (n)

A person who offers views or theories on questions such as questions of ethics or logic.

Philosophy (n)

The study of a particular area of knowledge OR A system of principles to guide someone in everyday life.

Ethics (n)

The principles of right and wrong by which people live.

Values (n)

A principle, standard, or quality considered worthwhile or desirable.

Doctrine (n)

A particular principle or policy that is taught or promoted.

Principle (n)

An accepted rule of action or conduct (the way a person behaves).

Affluent (adj)

Having more than enough wealth, resources etc. Being ‘well off’ (prosperous/rich).

Poverty (n)

The state or situation of having little or no money, goods, or means of support.

Charity (n)

Donations to help the poor OR an organisation or fund that collects and distributes donations to those in need.

Something given to a person or persons in need.

Donate (v)

The act of giving something (usually money) to charity.
