ESTIMATION OF THE STATE OF TERRITORIES OF THE SUBJECT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE POSSIBILITY OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. The management of territorial development is carried out with the help of a wide range of various procedures which stimulating socio-economic development. And only the correct decisions and actions taken by state authorities to manage the territory can ensure a stable and balanced development of the economy of the Russian Federation. This article considers modern methods and approaches for solving the problem of assessing the state of the territory, which are used in the practice of regional management. Given the definition of the term "management of territorial development" and its fundamental goal is revealed. Presented are modern approaches for solving the problem of assessing the development of the territory. The indicators of social and economic development of the territory are given. Described the directions on which the management of the development of the subject of the Russian Federation should be evaluated. General methodological provisions for ensuring effective development of the territory of the subject of the Russian Federation are given.
