Good morning ladies and gentlemen. My name is Marina Sigareva. I’m a second-year student of railway transportation management faculty. In my talk I'll inform you about the SCB devices.

My presentation will take about 5 minutes.

So, let's get started. Signaling, centralization and blocking devices are a set of technical means used to regulate and ensure the safety of train traffic (in other words, to prevent collisions, derailments and other accidents).

Let's now move onto the next point.

Railway signalling is a set of means and objects that ensure movement along railway tracks.

Railway signalling is designed to ensure the safety and regulation of traffic for the efficient use of railways. To perform these tasks, various signals are used, as well as train traffic control systems.

On the slide you can see the shunting traffic light, which refers to railway signaling.

Next, we will consider the electrical centralization of arrows and signals. This is a station system of centralized control and management of railway automation and telemechanics facilities with the provision of established requirements for the safety of railway trains and a given capacity.

The slide shows a diagram of an automated station attendant's place.

And finally, we'll look at blocking. This is a system for regulating the intervals between railway trains passing along the railway stretch.

So, let me sum up: SCB devices are an integral part of modern systems for the operation of trains. The SCB ensures the safety of traffic on the railway..
