HOW DOES A BILL BECOME A LAW? (UK PARLIAMENT)

Don't steal, pay your taxes, go to school. We're all expected _1_____ of the land but where do law's come from? Before a law becomes law, it is known as _2_____ and on its way to becoming a law a Bill must pass through both _3_____.

Most Bills are based on ideas suggested by _5_____, although any MP or Lord can _6_____ a Bill, it will get checked by both along the way. All Bills get the same treatment. First, every Bill gets _7_____ so everyone knows it's begun its journey to become a law. Usually, a Government Minister who supports the Bill will _8_____ and _9_____ the reasons why they think it's a good idea.
