I quite agree with the statement that Relations between people are regulated by prescriptive laws because the law regulates the behavior of people and tells them how not to act. Without the law, there would be chaos.

I quite agree with the statement that If we always break the rules, other members of society may consult the police because breaking the rules should be punished. Police are an official body whose job is to make sure that people obey the law and rules.

3. When governments make laws for their citizens d) they try to implement common sense.

Just what I think what When governments make laws for their citizens they try to implement common sense. because otherwise it would be pointless. What is the purpose of the law if it doesn't make sense.

Peter: Hi, Alice. How are you getting on?

Alice: Fine, thanks, Peter. What about you?

Peter: I’m O. K. I’m glad to see you.

Alice Me too. I’m glad you are not in a hurry and we have time to talk today.

Peter: Sure.

Alice: I know you’ve entered the university, haven’t you?

Peter: That’s right.

Alice: Congratulations. Why did you make up your mind to become a lawyer?

Peter: Good question! Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to be a police officer.

Alice: Yes, I remember that.

Peter:Now that I study law, I can make my dream come true.

Alice: Great!

Peter: I always wanted to fight criminals and restore justice!

Alice: Your choice inspires me. You can do it!
