Например:

These animals were being examined by the vet when we came to the farm yesterday.	Вчера, когда мы пришли на ферму, эти животные осматривались ветеринаром.

	Отрицательная форма
Present Continuous Passive am not isn’t + being examined aren’t	Past Continuous Passive wasn’t +being examined weren’t	Future Continuous Passive не употребляется

These animals are not being examined by the vet now.		Эти животные не осматриваются ветеринаром сейчас.
These animals were not being examined by the vet yesterday at 10 o’clock.		Эти животные не осматривались ветеринаром вчера в 10 часов.
	Вопросительная форма
Present Continuous Passive Am I Is he + being examined Are we	Past Continuous Passive Was he + being examined Were we		Future Continuous Passive не употребляется

Are these animals being examined by the vet now?	Эти животные осматриваются сейчас ветеринаром?

Exercise 163. Translate the sentences paying attention to the tense of the predicate.

1. The total number of platelets (тромбоциты) in the patient’s blood is being counted by the laboratory workers now.

2. The exact amount of salt in this compund was being determined when we came to the laboratory yesterday.

3. We can clearly observe that a favorable effect is being produced by the administration of these drugs on the patient’s condition.

Exercise 164. Choose the sentences with the predicate in Continuous Passive.

1. No changes are being observed in the patient’s condition now. 2. The blood was dripping from the wound slowly. 3. At the end of October this woman visited this clinic complaining of a bad pain in the heart. 4. The pet’s condition is being discussed with its owner now. 5. We need new laws protecting animals.
