Все эти строки не попали в окончательную редакцию поэмы. Но очень похожие детали (колокольчики, богатые украшения) можно заметить в описании коня Глорфиндэля (см LotR1:I, ch. 12; Letters:279). Правда, удила никогда не употреблялись эльфами (Letters:279).
