letter, describing the restaurant I visited to my parents
.docxLast week you were invited to eat out. Write a letter to your parent describing the place, the food and the service and tell them whether you were satisfied or had some complaints.
Mum, Dad, hi. As you know, last week Moses and Ruth invited me to eat out, and you wanted to know more about it, so here I am telling you.
The restaurant isn’t too famous; however, it looks fancy and new. The music was wonderful. At first I didn’t even realise it was playing, yet it was making my mood turn better and better.
Now, you might want to know more about the food. Well, we had a three-course meal that night. The main one was smoked meat (venison, as far as I can remember, some game for sure) and stewed vegetables. I’m not really a fan of not-chicken meat, but trying it was worth it. Then we ate fish and tomato soup. Surprisingly, I liked it.
Then there were light mixed salads with hazelnuts, savoy, dill, baked chicken cubes and everything. The drinks were nice as well: fresh fruit juices, strawberry tea. As for the desserts, they were right to my liking: ice cream with white chocolate and cupcakes with boiled condensed milk. Yes, I still do have a sweet tooth. The service? Oh, first-rate! Not only are they prompt and caring, but also extraordinarily neat and pleasant to look at.
You may guess, we had a great time there.
See you in a bit!
