Currently, there is need for the information society. The main tool for this is the computer.
There are 3 basic common goals (educational, practical and educational)
1. Education - to give basic knowledge of the basics of computer science and the skills needed both in computer science and other disciplines. Studying computer science is important for the development of pupils' thinking. In modern psychology, there is a significant impact of the study of computer science and the use of computers in teaching on the development of students' theoretical, creative thinking, as well as the formation of a new type of thinking, the so-called operational thinking, aimed at selection of optimal solutions
2. Practical goals. School Informatics is to give knowledge about professions related to computers and the use of computers in everyday life.
3. Educational include creating a culture of intellectual labor, the ability to plan your work, run it rationally, critically correlate the initial work plan with realistic implementation process. All this requires a strong-willed and mental effort.
