X. Role play. Make up dialogues based on the following situations.
Situation 1. Two elderly ladies have just witnessed an act of
vandalism. They are talking about reasons of the crime, damage, and necessary steps which must be made by militia, school, families.
Situation 2. The school director is explaining to a pupil who has
forged (подделал) a teacher’s signature that it is a
crime. The boy understood his fault and promises
never to do it again.
Situation 3. Two men whose dachas are in the same neighbour-
hood are discussing how often arson, vandalism and
theft of the harvest take place there. They both want
stiffer penalties for these crimes.
Situation 4. Two investigators are sharing their impressions of
what kinds of crimes against property have occured
more frequently in their regions.
Situation 5. A businessman is complaining to an investigator of
the blackmail he has fallen victim of. Help is being
promised to him.
