1 We believe that the term “political correctness” in the 21st century should be treated in broader terms – as “communicative correctness” because it applies not only to verbal and linguistic correctness in politics but practically to all spheres of human life. Thus one may speak of “cultural correctness”, “racial correctness”, “religious correctness”, “gender correctness” and other instances when people have to observe certain ethical rules of communication.
