Future-in-the-Past Tenses
Употребляются для обозначения действий, будущих с точки зрения прошедшего. Эти действия встречаются в придаточных предложениях после глаголов, обозначающих говорение или умственную деятельность и передающих(во многих случаях) косвенную речь. Значение самих времен остается тем же.
The Future Indefinite in the Past(Simple)
E.g. He knew(that) I would come home late- Он знал, что я приду домой поздно
