I. Read the words of the Latin and Greek origin and give their Russian equivalents:

V. Read the sentences and define the functions of Participle I and II. Translate the sentences.

1. The connective tissue attachment destroyed by the periodontal disease may be regenerated.

3. Microbes colonized at the gingival crest are the cause of periodontal disease.

4. As shown by archaeological studies and the historic literature periodontal disease has a long history.

7. An erupting tooth was affected by periodontal disease.

8. This is achieved at present by the dentist educating and supervising the child through adolescence and adulthood.
