Student’s day

I want to tell you about my daily activities. Every day I get up at 7 o’clock. I open the window, do my morning exercises and make my bed. Then I go to the bathroom where I wash, clean my teeth, take cold shower. After that I dress and go to the kitchen to have breakfast.

For breakfast I usually have some pieces of bread with butter or cheese, two eggs and a cup of coffee or tea with milk and sugar. While having breakfast I sometimes listen to the latest news on the radio. After breakfast I leave home for the University. As I live far from the University I go there by bus. It takes me half an hour to get to the University. On my way to the University I usually meet my fellow students and we have a talk about our studies.

Our studies begin at 8 o’clock a.m. and I always come to the University in time. Every day we have three or four classes. I never miss classes. I want to become a good (specialist) lawyer and that’s why I attend all the lectures and seminars. At 10.50 we have a break for lunch I usually have lunch at the University cafeteria. Some students purchase lunch or eat something they brought from home. Most of the students bring sandwiches and buy juice or coffee. The cafeteria is a busy place and noisy too, because the students meet their friends and have a chance to talk. After classes a great number of students stay at the University to work in the reading rooms and prepare for seminars. At our University we have all possibilities for studies. At our disposal we have a library in every college building, many reading-rooms, Internet-halls and computer classes. Libraries and reading-rooms are always full of students. In the reading-rooms we can find necessary literature of foreign and home publications for study.

I usually get home at about half past four. I am very tired after a busy day at the University. I have dinner and have a short rest. I listen to the music. I am fond of modern and classic music. Sometimes I listen to the radio or watch TV. Then I help my mother about the house. I wash dishes after dinner and turn out flat. Sometimes I go shopping with my mother. Then I do my homework, write course-papers, essays and prepare for my seminars. At 11 o’clock I go to bed.

But Sunday is a day when I needn’t hurry anywhere. It is my day off. On my day off I wake up later than usual. It is pleasant to be at home, feel comfortable, enjoy my relatives, visit my friends, read books and go to the cinema or to the park.
