II. Лексика.Read and translate the text: My flat

My family lives in a new five-storeyed building. My address is flat 26, Miners Avenue. As there are 5 storeys in the building it has no lift.

Our flat is on the first floor. It's not large, but it is comfortable and well- planned. It has all modern conveniences such as central heating, gas, electricity, cold and hot running water, a telephone. There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet and a hall in our flat.

The living- room is the largest room in our flat. In the middle we have a square dining- table with 4 chairs round it. Near the dining-table there is a piano with a piano stool. In front of the big window there is a little table with a colour TVset and video on it. Opposite the TV set there is a big cozy sofa. I like to lay on it and watch TV programm.

The bedroom is smaller than the living-room. There are 2 beds with a bedside-table between them there. At the opposite wall there is a dressing-table with a big mirror. There is a thick carpet on the floor and plain light brown curtains on the window.

The third room is my room. I call it my study. It is not large but it is as cosy as all the other rooms. There isn't much furniture in it only the most necessary pieces. It has a writing-table with drawers to keep papers in. In the right-hand corner there is a bookcase full of books. A small table with a computer is in the left-hand corner. There is a bed with some cushions near it. In my opinion the study is the best room in our flat.
