(Fantasy Camp)

Lesson 1

Let’s get acquainted. This game calls Snowball. Each student calls his name and the first letter of his name he should come up with an adjective which will characterize his personality. Then one after the other they repeat names and adjectives preceding people.

Game”A Bottle”

We need a bottle and sheets of paper. Sheets of paper we should cut into strips and then give it to each student and offer to write any questions with the pronoun “you”. Fold the strips in the tube and put it in the bottle , sut in a circle and begin to rotate, on whom indicate the bottle ,that puuls and answers the question, play until the bottle is empty.(Background music is welcome)

The Game “We will show u”

The players stand on from a little distance from each other , each phrase corresponds to any movement , which showed by teacher. Слово «Hello» - дети должны присесть.

Слово «Good bye» - дети идут в одну сторону по кругу.

(тренируем предлоги «on», «under»)

Слово «on» - дети поворачиваются вправо.

Слово «under» - дети приседают.

Thje teacher can confuse them. All pupils should do the movements and pronounce tne words together with teacher.

My Version

The teacher read a story or turns on audio to pupils. Then the class is divided into 2 teams and each of them should tell the story in the details with the help of words or gestures .

A story “Johnny Appleseed”

Once upon a time there lived a boy in a small town in Massachusetts, in America. His name was John Chapman.He grew up on the farm. His father had a lot of work and he helped his father a lot. He liked working in the field and feeding the animals, but his favorite place on the farm was the apple orchard. John took care of the trees and picked the apples from the trees in autumn.John wanted to go and live in the West, but his father didn’t like this idea and told him that there were no apple trees in the West. Johnny said, «Then I will bring apples to the people there. I will plant all kinds of apples -red, yellow and green.”One day Johnny started his long journey to the West.He took books and a big bag of apple seeds on his back. He planted seeds in all places where he came: in small villages and large villages, in small towns and large towns. All people loved him, because he was kind and friendly.He told stories to children, fed animals and helped everyone.Everywhere where Johnny went apple trees started to grow. People remembered that Johnny brought apple trees to them and gave him a name Johnny Appleseed. There are many legends about Johnny and his apple trees in America.

Game “Seasons”

The teacher offers to student to make a time of the year and describe it in various sentences Например: It is cold. It is white. I ski. I skate. I play snowballs. The pupils try to guess: Is it spring? Is it winter?

Where Is It?

The leader is out of the door. The players hidden the thing. When the leader comes back , the players should help him to find the object , giving instructions in English.
