Text a My Nowadays Life
Let me introduce myself. My name is Konstantin, my surname is Pavlov, but my close friends call me by my first name Kostya. I am 20 years old, my birthday is February 15, and my birthplace is Chelyabinsk. At the age of 7 I went to school and at the age of 17 finished it. What about my nowadays life? It differs a lot from my school life. And now I would like to tell you some words about my new life.
At the moment I am a first year cadet of the Ural State Institute of the Fire Service of Emergency Ministry of Russia. The cadet’s life is regulated by the daily routine of our educational institution. Our usual day starts early. We get up at 6.30 and do morning exercises. As a rule, we go jogging. Then we make beds and wash. At 8 a.m. sergeant inspect the ranks, and 10 minutes later we go to the diner. It usually takes us 15 minutes to have breakfast.
At 9.30 our classes begin. Every day we have three lessons till 2 p.m. After classes we have dinner.
Usually after that we do some work (for example, clean the territory) or have marching drills. At 5.20 p.m. our self-study begins. It lasts till 8 p.m. After supper we have some free time. We can watch TV, read books or magazines or go to the club to watch a film.
After the evening roll-call we have our long awaited “taps”. So my life is not easy but I don’t complain. Now I miss my family very much and call my parents as often as I can. In my opinion, once you have chosen this profession, you must be ready to overcome any difficulties and problems to become a well-trained specialist.
