LIW 35

1. Learn by heart the poem “A Night Thought” by William Wordsworth

Lo! where the Moon along the sky

Their way pursue,

Sails with her happy destiny;

Ingrates who wear a smileless face

Oft is she hid from mortal eye

The whole year through.

Or dimly seen,

If kindred humors ever would make

But when the clouds asunder fly

My spirit droop for drooping's sake,

How bright her mien!

From Fancy following in thy wake,

Far different we--a forward race,

Bright ship of heaven!

Thousands though rich in Fortune's grace

A counter impulse let me take

With cherished sullenness of pace

And be forgiven.
