RELATIONS OF UKRAINE AND THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES
Ukraine is a sovereign state. It established new relations with the countries throughout the word. Ukraine sets direct contacts with many foreign countries, signs agreements and treaties.
Ukraine has diplomatic relations with the USA, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada and other English-speaking countries. The relations of Ukraine with these countries in policy, economics, science, culture, education and sports are highly developed. We have a lot of joint projects in these spheres.
Taking into consideration the development in Ukraine, all English-speaking countries want to set broader economic ties with Ukraine. That’s why a lot of joint ventures have appeared recently in our cities and towns .-They will help to (develop our economics and some branches of industry, such as coal-mining, ship-building, energetic. They will also help to introduce new technologies and methods of working into our agriculture. Many of -such projects are supported and financed by the Know-How Fund, which aims to inform Ukraine on Western methods of working and to help to introduce them in our country.
But true friendship is built by people and public organizations of our countries. Tourism is very popular. We also exchange students and teachers. We also have close relations with ethic Ukrainians which live in the English-speaking countries. Here in Ukraine-we have a special Ministry for Diaspora.
