It’s a must see if you have an opportunity to reach that corner of the world. The Taj Mahal was built in 1630 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and is a final resting place of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, is considered to be one of the most grandiose burial sites ever created. No expense was spared to bring this monument of his love for her to life. It consists of marble and many other precious materials as well as very formal and complex gardens and water features.
