3.7.4.2 Septic Tank
The motel has first septic tank which receive wastewater from motel the septic tank has size 2m as diameter and 4m as deep and its volume is 12.56metercub the capacity of septic tank is 12560litre it located in distance of 14m from the motel
Material used:
Cement (binder)
Stones
Aggregate (fine, course)
Water
Reinforced concrete formed slab used on top of septic tank as a cover
The second septic tank is for receiving the water after used and has 2m diameter, 4m deep hence the volume is 12560litres this septic tank is located near of the first one at 13m length from the motel building .the materials required for to construct it are same as the first.
Discharging the effluent
The motel drainage is the subsoil irrigation which connected to gully (gully collecting waste water from the both and basin and has 13m length
The drain pipes are in plastic material and has 100mm of diameter the gully is constructed in brick and its cover in concrete
The steam water is collected into the suspended tank and could be used in many services such as:
cleaning of motel
Irrigation of garden.
3.7.4.3 Water supply
From the water main located at CYASEMAKAMBA to motel building the water supply system is gravitation
The water supply pipes as material are made in plastic from the main to the motel and pipe for sanitary fittings are galvanized iron pipe which the diameter is 50mm.
3.7.4.4 Painting
The external paint used is white for copping and decoration are painted by green color
The internal paint is made in white color and plinth in black color.

The ceiling on last floor is in suspended type which made with tiles.
3.7.4.5 Electrical installation
The motel installation is depend upon the uses of different component of our building such as
Lodge and restaurant :-discharge lamps
Dancing room :- signal lamps
Auditorium, garage and verandah :-tube lamps
Garden :-tub lamps
External light :tub lamps
