Believe in yourself

This is the most important part of overcoming your shyness; you have to believe that who you are is worth knowing and sharing with the world. If you are convinced you are a boring and uninteresting person, you will be. If, on the other hand, you are certain that you have something to give the world and have big plans on the horizon, I have but one thing to say to you: “Hey, how’s it going?”

Tired of the same old opening lines? We’ve all heard them, and they can sometimes be a real turn-off. But since you never get a second chance to make a first impression, what’s said in those first few moments is as important as it often is tongue-tying. A great way to start a conversation in almost any situation is to ask questions. You can use the weather, your situation, or a request you may have, such as asking for directions. Break the ice by making a comment or statement, often followed by a question. This technique works especially well when you’re with a group of people sharing a similar experience. You can also make comments about your surroundings

Most regular readers of Listverse know that I am a food fanatic. It started as a child watching my family members baking on the weekends, and led me to try to teach myself French cuisine. Borscht is a soup of Ukrainian origin, that is popular in many Eastern and Central European countries. It is made with beetroot as the main ingredient, giving it a deep reddish-purple color. The soup began its existence from vegetables, consumed throughout the winter months. One of the primary vegetables of the Slavic diet during the winter months was beets. Hence, the recipe turned into what is traditionally known of as a beet soup.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Shopping Online

Finding a product online is much easier than looking for it in the local store. You can search any product easily by using the search engine feature of an online shopping website. But in store you have to look for it until you find it. This is how you can save some valuable time. Many people hate to search a product in the corners of a shop and stand in the line for paying the price. Shopping from the local store becomes more time consuming and expensive if you do not have your own car. You can solve all the above problems just by shopping online. If you don't find a product than you can switch to a new shopping website without wasting your time. On the other hand if you do not find any product in the store you sometimes are forced to buy a worse thing from the local store. If you don't like the price of a product from an online shop, you will switch to another online store to look for cheaper prices.
