Itabnormalconditionisfound,replacethecombinationmeterunitwithanewoneaftercheckingitswire

2)Releasethefunctionswitch®,3to5secondsafterturningtheignitionswitchon.

3)Pressthefunctionswitch~twice(within1second).--tReset

•Completetheoperationwithin1Osecondsaftertheignitionswitchhasbeenturnedon.

•Connect12Vbatteryandtestbulb(12V,3.4W)tothefuellevelindicatorswitchasshownintherightillustlations.Thebulbshouldcomeonafterseveralsecondsiftheswitchisingood

_condition.

•Whentheswitchisimmersedinwaterundertheabovecondi•tion,thebulbshouldgoout.Ifthebulbremainslit,replacetheunitwithanewone.

INSPECTION

Beforeremovingtheturnsignal/side-standrelay,checktheop•

erationoftheturnsignallight.

Iftheturnsignallightdoesnotilluminate,inspectthebulb,turnsignalswitchandcircuitconnection.

Ifthebulb,turnsignalswitchandcircuitconnectionareOK,the

turnsignalrelaymaybefaulty;therefore,replacetheturnsignal/

side-standrelaywithanewone.
