Reassembleandremountthehandlebarinthereverseorderofremovalanddisassembly.

Payattentiontothefollowingpoints:

•Installthehandlebarstemporaly.

•Installthesteeringstemupperbracket.

NOTE:

Ifitisdifficulttoinstallthesteeringstemupperbracket,loosentheaxlepinchboltsofrightfrontfork.

•Tightenthesteeringstemheadnut.

~Steeringstemheadnut:90N·m(9.0kgf·m,65.0lb-ft)

•Tightenthefrontforkupperclampbolts.

~Frontforkupperclampbolt:23N·m(2.3kgf·m,16.5lb-ft)

•Tightenthehandlebarsetbolts.

~Handlebarsetbolt:1ON·m(1.0kgf·m,7.0lb-ft)

•Tightenthehandlebarclampbolts.

~Handlebarclampbolt:23N·m(2.3kgf·m,16.5lb-ft)

•Whenremountingtheclutchleverholder,aligntheholder'smatingsurfacewithpunchmark®onthehandlebar.

•Whenremountingthebrakemastercylinder,aligntheholdersmatingsurfacewithpunchmark®onthehandlebar.

•Whenremountingtherightandlefthandleswitches,engagethestopperwiththehandlebarhole.

•Applythegreasetothethrottlecablesandtheirholder.

•Loosentheaxlenut.

•Raisetherearwheeloffthegroundandsupportthemotor·

cyclewithajackorwoodenblock.

•Removetheaxlenutanddrawouttherearaxle.

•Removetherearwheelbydisengagingthedrivechain.

ACAUTIONI

Donotoperatethebrakepedalwhileremovingtherearwheel.

•RemovethecollarCD.

•Drawouttherearsprocketmountingdrum12)fromthewheelhub.

•Removetherearsprocketmountingdrumretainer~~.

•Separatetherearsprocketfromitsmountingdrumbyremov•

ingnuts.

•Removethedustsealbyusingspecialtool.
