Work #7

1. “Kazakh”

2. Show the pride and beauty of Kazakh person.

3. The face of Kazakh man basically represents Kazakh man, but also it shows the whole nation. Kazakh people usually have Asian eyes and a little bit dark skin

4. a) paper, pencil. Graphit

b) At first I took a paper and started to think about what am I going to draw. Then I started to actually draw it. in the end I added some shades using my fingers and graphit.

c) I had difficulties with drawing eyes, because when I drew for the first try the didn’t look real but like from the cartoon. Miss Youngsin helped me with this.

5. I got some expression problems when I was painting my work because at first I wanted to draw some of my classmates, I guess Gregor but then I realized that I couldn’t do it and he didn’t look like Gregor at all. Finally I decided to redraw it an make a Kazakh face.

6. the main inspiration for me was that I am from Kazakhstan I know exactly how they look like. I think that they are not like all other Asians. Also I can easily recognize Kazakh person and I would never mix up for example Chinese and Kazakh.

7. I think I would be more specific with details, may be add some wrinkles on his face and probably I would draw him with coloured pencils to make it look more realistic.

8. I am satisfied. Approximately 7/10. Because I know for sure that I could do better.

9.Abu (from Kazakhstan) said that it kind of looks like a Kazakh person but not really.

Work #8

1. “Hand”

2. Show my hand. We drew it to see the proportions of one part of our body and show the details.

3. I showed details by shading some parts of my hands to make it looks realistic. Also i tried to show curves which our hands have, but this i didn’t do very successfully.

4. a)paper, pencil.

b) Looked at my hand very carefully then started to draw it.

c) It was hard for me to show the real proportions of my hand.

5. I had a hard time with drawing lines of a hand, it didn’t look realistic enough.

6. I just got a topic form Youngsin. I wasn’t really inspired by someone or something, but i really liked how DaVinci shows the humans body in general. Unfortunately i am not Leonardo.

7. I wish I could use different grey pencils to show shadows more clearly.

8. I’m not really satisfied because I’m sure that i could do better if spent more time on it.

9. My friends said that i am just a beginner so that’s why i couldn’t draw it perfectly.

Work #9

1) “Rainbow”

2)Show the variety of colors and how you can mix them to get a new colour.

3) Squares of the same size but different colours.

4) Paper, acrylics.

a) At first I learned a little bit how to mix colours then I took a brushes, acrylics and started to paint it.

b) I had some problems with mixing colours, because sometimes I couldn’t get the right colour.

5. I didn’t get any expressions problems.

6. The main inspiration for me was the rainbow which I was once in my home country, it is amazing that nature can create such a beautiful things. That’s why the title is “Rainbow”

7. I wouldn’t change anything.

8. I am 100% satisfied with my project.
