Every country has its traditional cuisine. While travelling to other parts of the world we can taste the food and drinks of other nationalities. As for Kazakhstan. Kazakh cuisine is the cuisine of Kazakhstan, and traditionally is focused on mutton and horse meat, as well as various milk products. The cooking techniques and major ingredients have been strongly influenced by the nation's nomadic way of life. Meat in various forms has always been the primary ingredient of Kazakh cuisine. Kazakh national cuisine reflects essence of the nation, its history, culture and traditions. Hospitality has always been a distinctive feature of the Kazakh nation, thus guests are always given a warm reception and the best seat. First he is offered kumys (horse milk), dairy drinks such as shubat (made of camel milk) or ayran (made of cow milk). Then baursaks are served to the tea with milk and cream. The most popular Kazakh dish is ‘besbarmak’. It is the main dish of the national cuisine and is translated as ‘five fingers’, and because the dish is eaten with hands. Today Kazakh meal is something different from the old one but still it is imbued with ancient laws of hospitability. On the contrary the hospitability is larger then ever for now because not only Kazakhs but people of various nations (Kazakhstan is a multinational country) have a meal around the dastarkhan: Russians, Tatars, Ukrainians, Uzbeks, Germans, Uigurs, Koreans and more. All these nations made their contribution on Kazakhs cookery.

I live in Kostanay. It is large town, and very beautiful. In Kostanay there are a lot of places of interest. Kostanay located in the northern part of Kazakhstan at the Tobol River. Kostanay is the administrative center of Koatanay Province. In Kostanay there are 8 higher educational institutions. There are also 22 colleges in which over 12,200 pupils are taught. The state network of culture totals 380 libraries, 201 club establishments, 8 museums and 2 theatres. There are numerous athletic facilities: two sports arenas, 26 stadiums, 10 sports complexes and 567 sports halls. One of the leading institutions of the region is Kostanay State University named after A. Baitursynov. Kostanay is rich in objects with a historical-cultural heritage. The regional center includes the Sunni Muslim mosque, the Building of Regional Administration, Kostanay State University, Altynsarin Regional memorial museum, the Kazakh Drama Theatre, the Central Square, and the railway station. Historical monuments include: I. Altynsarin monument, the Bust to Two Heroes of Soviet Union (I. F. Pavlov and L. I. Beda), the A. Baitursynov monument, the Memorial complex of memory of victims of the Second World War, A. Imanov bust, L.I. Taranu Bust. Also There are shopping center in Kostanay. There are MART, ATRIUM, French center and other. There are parks in Kostanay. I love my city; I am glad that I live here.
