Мета: удосконалювати вміння учнів з аудіювання, читання та усного мовлення; розвивати вміння переносити знання та нави­чки в нову ситуацію; ознайомити учнів із традиціями святкування "Halloween"; розвивати мовну здогадку, уяву; виховувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, бажання спілкуватися нею.

Every year on Halloween ,

All the children can be seen.

All in fancy dress,

Ready to distress.

Will the fox be nice for me?

Some are dressed like witches too,

Some look like a ghost for cool.

Mummies from a tomb,

Monsters in the glue.

You never know just who is who.

Trick or treat,

Be naughty or be nice.

Give us the tricks

Treat is bad

HOPPO-POPPO

Hoppo - poppo, toiling-trouble,

All the witches say.

Mixing cup of portion

In the witchy way.

I have new to ten clock juice

Put a pint of salt in,

Boil it up for half an hour,

It will be revolting.

Leg of frog and wing of bat,

Stirring dragons teeth — three.

Fry it up for half an hour

And serve for my tea.

Spider’s web and spider’s leg,

Just a dash of rat’s blood.

Small elf appears from the corner, sing a song sweeping the floor.

THE ELF

My name is Harry, the elf,

I live on the shelf

In the corner of your room.

Nobody can really see me,

Sweeping with my little broom.

I tidy, hop in the night,

I keep out offside,

Putting all your toys away.

Children sing a song and the with takes out the pumpkins one by one. After that she becomes very fat.
