3.4 Brief description of the discipline

Discipline of «Enterprise’s economy» is a component of a cycle of all-professional and special disciplines and is intended for studying by students of economic specialties. Object of research of enterprise’s economy are all processes, which processes which happen in other economic enterprises. All-economic processes are considered from their impact on other economic subjects. Discipline «Enterprise’s economy» studies not only economic subjects traditionally now, but also the public, noncommercial enterprises, such, as higher educational institutions, consumer societies and others. The discipline «Enterprise’s economy» formulates scientific hypotheses on economic processes, checks them on the basis of empirical data and specifies what should be expected results. This subject matter has applied nature, develops decision making models, proceeding from particular purposes of development of available means, which are used as instruments for the solution of practical problems, studies enterprise activity as the difficult organism representing production and economic system, which task to make production, works and services.

Purpose and tasks of studying of a course.

The purpose of studying of a course of «Enterprise’s economy» is a detailed statement of questions of the theory and practice of management by economic activity of the enterprise in the conditions of radical transformations of public life connected with features of economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Tasks of studying of discipline consider the following questions: characteristics of development of economy of Republic of Kazakhstan and their state regulation, enterprises as economic subjects, economic and social efficiency, enterprise’s resources and their using efficiency (fixed assets, working capital, material and manpower), labor resource of the enterprise, economic mechanism of functioning of the enterprise, as compensations, investment and innovation policy of the enterprise, costs of production and sales of products, marketing and productive activity of the enterprise, ensuring product competitiveness, financial results of activities of the enterprise.
