Scientists are working at the new project. They have already finished the old one by spring. They were studying the movement of planets in the solar system. Last century they found that: there are 9 planets and 61 satellites altogether in the solar system; Mercury, with a diameter of 3,112 miles, is the planet nearest to the sun; Pluto, the most distant planet, takes about 247 3/4 earth years to orbit around the sun; when comets approach the sun, their tails begin to glow from friction with the solar wind; and the sun, an average-sized star, makes up about 99 percent of the mass of the solar system. In their new project they are going to send 50 artificial satellites to look for some new information about space. Next three years they are going to build 20 new satellites. It will take three more years to taste them. On the 7th year the scientists will have sent these machines into space. The scientists will be working out other 30 machines during next 10 years. It will take three more years to taste the rest of the 30 satellites. Only when all 50 satellites will be working in space the project is over.
