The Teenager and the Telephone
It
was a fine day yesterday. Jane looked nice in her cotton blouse and
blue jeans at school. Tom stopped her in the corridor and promised
to make her a call. It was a surprise.
When she came home she didn’t eat her lunch as usual. She was very excited for it. She fell in love with Tom two years ago and was thinking about him all this time keeping silence. Each time she met him in the school corridor she got red and looked away. So the only thing she could do to wait for his call impatiently. Jane was lying on her back with closed eyes. She was dreaming while she was waiting for his call. What was he going to tell her? She didn’t know. She wasn’t interested in anything in her bedroom neither music or posters nor stuffed animals. She was propping her feet on the wall and looking into the ceiling when the telephone rang. Yes, she spent a lot of time on the phone yesterday but what they were talking about nobody knew.
Start your story the following way:
It will be a fine day tomorrow. …
