Союзные слова
Союзные слова, как и союзы, употребляются для связи придаточных предложений с главным. В качестве таких слов используются относительные местоимения who - кто, который, whose - чей, которого, what - что, which/that – который, и наречия when - когда, where - где, how - как, why - почему.
Союзные слова отличаются от союзов тем, что они не только связывают придаточные предложения с главным, но и входят в состав придаточного предложения в качестве одного из его членов:
I wonder who knows the truth (подлежащее).

The preposition
Предлог (the Preposition) – это служебное слово, выражающее различные отношения существительных или его эквивалентов (местоимений- существительных, герундия) к другим словам в предложении (существительным, прилагательным, глаголам).
