Future tenses
THE FUTURE INDEFINITE (FUTURE SIMPLE) TENSE
Future Indefinite выражает действие или состояние в будущем.
Future Indefinite употребляется:
1) для описания естественного хода событий:
The exams will begin on the 10th of June.
2) для выражения действия, которое совершится при определённых условиях и обстоятельствах:
When you finish your work, we shall go to the restaurant.
Примечание: а) В придаточных предложениях времени и условия вместо Future Indefinite употребляется Present Indefinite.
б) В разговорной речи для выражения отдельных намеченных на ближайшее будущее действий (в особенности с глаголами to come, to stay, to call и выражениях to have guests; to give a party и т.п.) часто употребляется Present Continuous:
When are you coming to see us?
She is giving a birthday party tomorrow.
3) для выражения намерения совершить действие в ближайшем будущем употребляется сочетание Present Continuous глагола to go с инфинитивом другого глагола:
What are you going to do with your old toys?
I'm going to present them to my little brother.
Future Indefinite образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола shall для 1-го лица единственного и множественного числа и will для всех остальных лиц и основы инфинитива основного глагола:
shall/will + V
