ВСТУП
В епоху стрімкого й постійного розвитку інформаційних технологій, розширення міжнародних ділових і культурних зв’язків у різних галузях науки і техніки, постійно змінюються вимоги до підготовки висококваліфікованого конкурентоздатного фахівця, який повинен уміти поєднувати високоякісну фахову підготовку з умінням самостійно творчо мислити та ефективно працювати у полікультурному середовищі.
Організація самостійної роботи студентів у вищій школі потребує змін, що пов’язані із запровадженням модульно-рейтингової організації навчального процесу та широким впровадженням при цьому інформаційних технологій у навчальний процес. Дисципліна «Англійська мова (основна)» є складовою циклу «Професійної та практичної підготовки», спрямованою на формування професійної комунікативної компетенції, яка розглядається як мовна поведінка, специфічна для академічного та професійного середовища.
Метою методичних вказівок «Англійська мова (основна), практичний курс» до організації аудиторної та позааудиторної самостійної роботи студентів V курсу факультету лінгвістики для ОКР «Спеціаліст» є вдосконалення навичок та вмінь рецепції, продукції, інтеракції та медіації, сформованих у тих, хто навчається, протягом попередніх чотирьох років навчання, за рахунок застосування відповідних вправ, інтерактивних завдань та спеціальних навчальних матеріалів, у чотирьох видах мовленнєвої діяльності, а саме: аудіюванні, читанні, говорінні, письмі.
Методичні вказівки розраховані на 41 годину аудиторної та позааудиторної самостійної роботи студентів, що відповідає навчальному плану. Згідно Загальноєвропейських рекомендацій з мовної освіти Ради Європи, рівень сформованості англомовної комунікативної компетенції, що досягається протягом п’ятого року підготовки, визначається як рівень С2.
Методичні вказівки спрямовані на опрацювання І модуля за базовим підручником (Proficiency Masterclass (Student’s book and Workbook) by Kathey Gude and Michael Duckworth. – Oxford University Press. - 1995.) та містять лексичний мінімум до кожного юніту, вправи на закріплення лексико-граматичного матеріалу, вправи на розвиток основних видів мовленнєвої діяльності, значну кількість інтерактивних завдань; вправи, спрямовані на роботу з сучасними автентичними англомовними матеріалами з використанням інтернет-ресурсів, завдання для самоперевірки, список рекомендованої літератури. Використання рольових ігор з моделюванням типових комунікативних ситуацій, виконання студентами проектних робіт з подальшим їх представленням у формі презентацій забезпечить можливість групової інтеракції та індивідуального вдосконалення дослідницьких та мовленнєвих вмінь студентів.
Виконання студентами методичних вказівок сприятиме глибокому осмисленню природи й сутності іноземної мови як засобу міжкультурного спілкування, її суспільних функцій, формування мовної та культурознавчої компетенцій.
