М. Стенникова, разделы IV и V м. М. Прилуцкая.

Department of Automated Electric Power Installations (AEPD)
The school emerged on the initiative of Prof. V. S. Cherednichenko on the basis of a scientific seminar and a branch research laboratory of the Ministry of Electrical Engineering Industry that was set up at the department of automated electric power installations in 1975. Broadening scientific contacts, joint international research and co-operation as well as conferences and workshops held at the department formed the foundation for creating the Siberian research school of electric power technologies. The founder and leader of the school is Prof. Vladimir S. Cherednichenko, D. Sc. (Eng.), head of the AEP department, member of the International Academy of Power Engineering, member of the Academy of Electrical Engineering of the Russian Federation, member of the Academy of Electrical Engineering of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation. Prof Cherednichenko is the author of more than 150 research papers, 2 monographs and 4 handbook included, holder of 57 inventors’ certificates and licences, 4 of which have been bought by Bolivia, Mexico, Australia and Germany. He is also actively involved in supervising research work of doctoral and postdoctoral students and has supervised research of 2 postdoctoral and 10 doctoral students who successfully defended their theses. Prof. Cherednichenko is Chairman of a specialised Doctor’s Board conferring the D. Sc. Degree. A lot of other distinguished and respected scientists and researchers contribute to developing advanced technologies and propose unique ideas, among them Prof. A. S. Anshakov, D. Sc. (Eng.), U. B. Ashimov, D. Sc. (Eng.), corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Prof. A. S. Basin, D. Sc. (Eng.), Prof. M. V. Radchenko, D. Sc. (Eng.), Prof. N. A. Rubtsov, D. Sc. (Phys. & Math.), Prof. A. N. Timoshevski, D. Sc. (Eng.), and many others.
At the moment 50 staff members, 2 postdoctoral and 8 doctoral students are doing research within the school.
