THE STORY OF THE BOY WHO «COULD DO BETTER»

Episode h

The first real change came when he started primary school at 5. This was a different world for him - no more аптщЭ but having to sit down and concentrate on reading, writing and learning. Early school reports were negative. Our bright, mischievous son became a disruptive element in the large class, where, unable to settle down and concentrate, it was easy for him to distract others. Finding he was more often chastised than rewarded, school became frustrating. A gloomy picture began to emerge at home as well. He had no interests or hobbies, and couldn’t sit still to concentrate. He hated books and reading. The only time he showed any kind of interest was when he helped me cook. His temper became a recurring feature, causing both my husband and me to become impatient and despairing, and his sister to begin hate his presence. It was as if he was taking his boredom and frustration out on those closest to him.
