3. Несмотря на бесспорное лидерство Франции на мировом рынке предметов роскоши, престижные французские марки сталкиваются с новыми конкурентами практически в каждом сегменте этого рынка.
4. Большинство французских фирм, торгующих предметами роскоши, находятся на рынке довольно давно. Вместе с тем, им удалось приспособиться к условиям новых рынков, где их дела также идут хорошо.
5. Однако в некоторых областях Франции все-таки не удалось сохранить свое первенство.
6. Французские виноделы, например, больше не могут рассматривать своё превосходство как нечто само собой разумеющееся. В результате недавно проведенной "слепой" дегустации калифорнийские вина были признаны лучшими даже в высоком ценовом сегменте.
7. Несмотря на то, что половина из 20 ведущих компаний Франции являются мировыми лидерами в своих областях и большую часть своего бизнеса ведут за пределами Франции, аналитики полагают, что участие Франции в глобальной экономике недостаточно.
8. Однако в целом Франция становится более открытой международному бизнесу: в стране обосновалось около 20.000 иностранных фирм, французские компании охотно приобретаются иностранцами, примерно половину ведущего фондового индекса Франции составляют инвестиции иностранных фондов, треть французских товаров, предназначенных для экспорта, производится иностранными компаниями.
9. Однако, по мнению экспертов, малый и средний бизнес - это Ахиллесова пята французской экономики: в стране всего 1 млн предприятий малого бизнеса, ориентированных в основном на внутренний рынок.
