Косвенный пассив
Косвенный пассив - это конструкция, в которой подлежащее предложения соответствует косвенному дополнению предложения с глаголом в действительном залоге.
e.g.: I showed him the way.
‘him’- косвенное дополнение к глаголу в действительном залоге. В страдательном залоге оно может стать подлежащим.
e.g.: He was shown the way.
‘he’- подлежащее предложения с глаголом в страдательном залоге.
Косвенный пассив в основном употребляется с глаголами to give (давать), to tell (сказать), to show (показывать), to pay (платить), to promise (обещать), to offer (предлагать).
e.g.: They were offered baskets of fine fruit.
I was vaguely told that something was wrong.
Предложный пассив
Предложный пассив– это конструкция, в которой подлежащее предложения соответствует предложному дополнению предложения с глаголом в действительном залоге.
e.g.: She looked at Peter.
‘at Peter’ - предложное дополнение к глаголу в действительном залоге.
e.g.: Peter was looked at.
‘ Peter’ - подлежащее предложения с глаголом в страдательном залоге.
Предложный пассив в основном употребляется с такими глаголами, как to look at (смотреть на кого-либо), to speak to (говорить с кем- либо), to speak of (about) (говорить о ком- нибудь), to listen to (слушать кого-либо),to pay for (платить за кого-либо), to look through (просматривать), to send for (посылать за кем- либо), to think over (обдумывать),to laugh at (смеяться над чем- либо), to look after (присматривать за кем- либо), to object to (протестовать против чего- либо).
e.g.: About an hour or so later I was sent for.
We know that she likes Nurse O’Brien and is well looked after.
Предлог в этой конструкции остается после глагола в пассиве.
В русском языке возможна только одна конструкция с глаголом в страдательном залоге – прямой пассив.
В предложении со страдательным залогом лицо, совершающее действие, иногда упоминается. В этом случае оно будет выражено существительным или местоимением с предлогом – by.
e.g.: The door was opened by a girl.
Dick went into the street and was received by Binkie.
