Introduction
Hunting industry is a sector of the food industry engaged in the hunting of wolves, bears, deer, wild boars, and geese, wild ducks and their processing into various types of food, medical, feed, and industrial products.
Hunting is one of the earliest forms of human production. The hunting industry arose as a sector of the food industry in the 17th century, the development of a hunting industry was aided by the building of railroads that made possible the transport of fish products to interior regions, by the expansion of forests. Hunting were concentrated predominantly on steppe and in forests
Hunting industry is an important economic activity that provides food and jobs for millions of people. The hunting industry includes all the activities involved in the commercial production of furs. The catching, processing, marketing, and conservation of hunting are all parts of the industry. The industry also provides various other products from the forest, such as berries, mushrooms and so on.
Meat is an excellent source of protein, one of the chief nutrients (nourishing substances) that people need for a good diet. As the world's population has grown, so has the demand for food—especially food rich in protein. The hunting industry has increased its annual catch to help meet this demand. The industry markets meat of wild animals in a variety of forms. The meats are sold fresh, canned, cured, and frozen. In addition, about a third of the world's hunting is used to produce high-quality animal feed and various industrial products.
The forests are by far the main source of meat. Only a small portion of the world's commercial hunting comes from such as steppes. An even smaller portion comes from wild animal farms. Wild animal farms are enclosures built on land, or areas in natural bodies of water where wild animals are raised for food.
The hunting industries produce many kinds of meat. Such meat as deer, moose, hares, wild boars and so on.
The hunting industry employs more than 6 million people worldwide
